Mushrooms: Inocybe godeyi

Class: Basidiomycetes
Scientific name: Inocybe godeyi Gillet

Morphological characteristics

Hat: 2-5 cm, bell-shaped, then more relaxed, until depressed, ocher cream with reddish spots, with slightly pruinose umbo.
Gills: fairly spaced with the presence of numerous lamellulae.
Stem: concolor to the cap, pruinose and with slightly marginal basal bulb; slightly enlarged at the base.
Meat: whitish or slightly tinged with flesh color, tasteless and with a slightly spermatic odor.

Edibility, habitat and observations

Relationship with the surrounding plant environment: saprophytic mushroom.
It grows in deciduous forests, from spring to autumn.
